As predicted here, Steele won’t run again. As one of the worst spokespersons ever, it’s not surprising that Steel wouldn’t run again. The only surprise is that he wasn’t fired earlier. More at Fox.

If these guys can get some hefty endorsement deals, then no one can! Imagine the commercial possibilities for thirst quenchers and snacks for these young men from New Zealand. They should get enough movie and book deals to be able to hire Steven Slater as their own personal flight attendant. If anyone knows them, I’m happy to send them my online media training school and media training books free of charge—they will be able to put the skills to good use.

Kardashian has been peddling a new pre-paid debit card that is, by all accounts, a rip-off piece of garbage. Now she has regulators attacking her:
“Keeping up with the Kardashians is impossible using these cards — laden with pernicious and predatory fees that swallow card value,” Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal said. “These cards are feckless financial tools designed to promptly diminish in value with virtually every transaction — and even when consumers don’t use the card at all.”
Is Andy Griffith a good Spokesperson for the Democrats?
Posted by TJ Walker in Analysis, Communications, Public Speaking Skills on July 31, 2010
Absolutely! He has a law and order, traditional values image based on his Mayberry days and he has an excellent personal reputation. In fact, the Democrats from my home state of North Carolina tried to recruit Griffith for years to run against Jess Helms. By the way, if you want to know all you need to know about the modern rise of the Limbaugh, Hannity, O’Reilly crowd, then check out Griffith’s 1957 masterpiece “a Face in the Crowd,” one of my all-time favorite movies.
