Michael Vick To Sit Down With Oprah Winfrey

by Mike Bako – The media spotlight has shown brightly on Vick this year and he has not had any hiccups along the way. Vick is now in the home stretch of his rehabilitation tour and he will be crossing the finish line with a sit-down on Oprah Winfrey’s couch.

Vick has said and done the right things every step of the way this year. Aside from an interview with 60 Minutes he has said most of these things to the sports media. I think that going on Oprah is a good final step to reach some of those casual fans or people who still only associate his name with dog fighting and going to jail.

Obama Speaks Out Against Mubarak

The Obama Administration was clearly not happy with Mubarak’s head fake last night. Team Obama put out a statement criticizing the Egyptian’s failure to communicate clearly on what is happening.

You get the sense that the Obama administration is one straw away from breaking completely with Mubarak and just sending a jet to take him away to Paris.

Dick Cheney Gets Booed and Called a Draft Dodger at CPAC Convention

One of the interesting things about public speaking is the unpredictability of the audience. You are never 100% certain what you will get.

At first blush, Dickey Cheney speaking to a group of conservatives at a Washington conference should be as friendly as a high school 50-year reunion.

Donald Trump Wows the Audience at the Conservative Political Action Committee (CPAC)

Sarah Palin says there is a double standard: If she or any other woman cried like John Boehner, they’d be toast!

She’s right! (for once). Sure John Boehner has been  mocked now that he is Speaker-elect, but a woman who had cried as much as Boehner had in the past would have never been elevated to such a position of power. Watch Sarah make unusually intelligently statements below.
