Glenn Beck is simply outraged that Michelle Obama has occasional parties at the White House (like all other First ladies) and has an office staff (like all other First Ladies).
It makes you wonder, is there anything Michelle Obama could do all day long at the White House that would be instantly condemned by Glenn Beck? Washing clothes by hand perhaps?

There are many ways to communicate a message and at last nights state dinner for President Hu Jintao of China the red dress worn by Michelle Obama sent out one message loud and clear.
We do not only communicate with our words but our body language and hand gestures can tell a great deal about what we are trying to say. By wearing red the first lady left no doubt about communicating a message of welcome to the Chinese leader.

Vintage is, of course, another word for “old and used.” This is smart PR on the part of the White House. With massive unemployment and widespread economic unease, now is not the time for the First Lady to be wearing brand new $20,000 designer dresses. Michelle Obama is once again setting the style world abuzz — wearing a thrift-store dress to the “Christmas in Washington” concert, which was taped Sunday and airs on TNT tonight.
The “couture” black-lace overlay frock, featuring a high, square neckline and a full skirt was plucked from New York Vintage in Chelsea.
