The debate was a bit of a mixed bag with no clear-cut winners or losers.
Here is the breakdown:
Michele Bachmann’s Iran embassy gaffe: Mike Bako on HLN Radio

Source: Newstrack: Presidential hopeful Michele Bachmann committed a gaffe when she said that she wanted to shut down the non-existent U.S Embassy in Iran, but later moved to say she was speaking hypothetically.
The irony of the statement is that America has not had a diplomatic mission in Tehran since 1980.
Brian Ross Roughed Up By Michele Bachmann Bodyguards At Campaign Event

The images stay fresh in our mind even it was over four decades ago. CBS News reporter Dan Rather being roughed up, pushed, pulled and escorted out of the 1968 Democratic Convention. Add ABC News reporter Brian Ross to that list thanks to two staffers of Michele Bachmann.
Bachman’s teams handling and mishandling of Ross as he tried to ask her questions about her migraines not only made the migraine story that much bigger but it also showed Bachmann as someone who would go to great lengths to avoid answering questions that she was not comfortable with.

Senator Arlen Specter Tells Rep/ Bachman “Act like a lady!”

US Senator Arlen Specter got into a talk radio fight with Rep Michele Bachmann this week. Apparently both were talking over each other. Finally, Specter said, “I’ll treat you like a lady, now act like one.” Ouch! That’s one way to make the sound bite of the day. Specter grabs attention because his comment was so emotional, attacking, heated and to some, sexist. Both politicians are tough and are no slouches at talking over their opponents, so I don’t think anyone really feels sorry for Bachmann. Specter is all across the map ideologically, so you won’t have the usual hysteria that might occur if a prominent liberal were to make such a comment. Still, it was an interesting clash and a great way of capturing the current level of political frustration coming out of the capital these days.
