Postscript to Network Solutions Fiasco
Posted by TJ Walker in Crisis Communications, Social Media on June 22, 2011
As of 7:30 PM, our PitchingWell.com website hosted on Network Solutions was finally up and running again. See the two previous blog mentions to get the history on this problem.
On the one hand, I’m glad Network solutions finally got our site back. But on the other hand, I still think it’s reprehensible that a company as big and ostensibly as reputable as Network Solutions performs so dismally during a crisis. The Network Solutions blog still says that everything is OK as of 10:44 AM this morning, a demonstrable falsehood. Yes, I finally got them to take my problem seriously. But not every small business customer can afford to launch a multimedia/social media/video jihad against Network Solutions to get their attention as I did. I have delivered a full onslaught of videos, Tweets, and blog posts denouncing Network Solutions for their deceptive practices, and still, they refuse to make a mention of any problems on their blog today or on their Facebook page or any or social media channel.

Public speaking moment of the day: LeBron James confronts his heckler in Detroit

by Mike Bako -At this point in his career Lebron James has heard it all from opposing fans. The boos, the cheers, the cursing and through it all he has continuously preformed at a high level. At times it almost seemed like he used it as fuel to reach even greater heights.
So why did he decide to verbally confront a fan in Detroit over heckling that he was receiving? It certainly was not the first time he had heard it from the Detroit crowd. What was different this time was that his small children were nearby and he did not want them hearing the curses coming out of the fans mouth.

Sarkozy joins leaders from Britain, Germany and Spain who have all spoken out against multiculturalism. Sarkozy also proclaims that multiculturalism has been a “failure.”
How will liberal democracies continue to assimilate immigrants? The key word is assimilate, in the eyes of these leaders. This battle is going to continue to brew and we are going to see more and more speeches on this topic in the months and years to come.

ABC’s Martin Bashir asks polite and fair questions to this Scientology stooge. That’s why he stormed out of the interview. If you aren’t willing to answer basic questions about your business/religion/cult, you shouldn’t consent to interviews in the first place.
