3. Don't drop the volume at the end of a thought. This is
OK and common in normal conversation, but when speaking on
TV, no one will be able to hear you or understand you.
4. Don't "think" on TV. Instead, focus on delivering your
message that was thought out earlier.
5. If you want to improve your TV performances, then watch, review and
critique your entire TV interview within 24 hours of the show airing.
Speaking/Presentation Tips
6. If you speak a little louder than usual (but don't yell and don't
lose a conversational tone to your voice), you will expend energy that
will make you fell less nervous.
7. Look at the floor between your chair and the lectern, if applicable,
to spot bumps, cords and other obstructions.
8. Before you rise to give a speech, empty your pockets so there are no
bulges and no clinking noises.
9. Don't lean on the lectern.
10. Rehearsing alone is better than not rehearsing at all, but not
nearly as good as rehearsing in front of other people.

Media Distribution Services-- For decades, audio and video have been
available to public relations professionals as a tool for reaching the
media and other audiences. But both have been expensive and cumbersome
to use. Video News Releases (VNR's), for example, take weeks to produce
and cost $15,000-$25,000 or more. Now, MDS Broadcast Services has
developed "News Talkers," a breakthrough, low-cost approach to
audio and video for public relations purposes. http://mdsconnect.com/news_talkers/news_talker.htm
