TJ Walker Unveils Presentation Challenge for Students: Offers $10,000 in Cash and Prizes.

The World’s Greatest Student Speaker Challenge was created to celebrate excellence in public speaking and presentation skills.  We will honor select students who demonstrate confidence and clarity in hopes that they will inspire their peers to become great speakers as well.  In addition we will be giving away over $10,000 in cash and prizes including books, tools, and workshops so that they may continue to improve and be great speakers in their chosen field

To make sure that we get the absolute best student speakers participating we are casting a wide net by using Youtube to gather submissions.  Any student from middle school to graduate school may enter their presentation by going to www.youtube.com/studentspeech and uploading a response video.

The World’s Greatest Student Speaker Challenge will start taking submissions on October 31st, 2009. The deadline for submissions is March 31st, 2010.

RULES & REGULATIONS

ELIGIBILITY

• Only full-time or part-time students from middle school to graduate school are eligible to win prizes.
• Students must produce proof of matriculation before receiving prizes.  If proof is not given within 2 weeks after the competition deadline then another finalist will be chosen to take their place.
• Applicants may upload multiple videos, but only the video with the highest and most ratings will be selected.

SUBMISSION

• The duration of submissions is limited to 10 minutes.
• Submissions may contain any content and be about any topic as long as they do not violate guidelines set forth by Youtube.
• Only submissions uploaded to the Youtube site will be considered.
• All submissions must be in English.
• All submissions must be made as response videos to www.youtube.com/studentspeech
• Please send us recent videos.

SELECTION

• 10 finalists will be selected by the public.  Entrants who have videos with the highest consistent ratings will be selected.
• Only one finalist will be chosen by the CEO of Media Training Worldwide, TJ Walker to win the Grand Prize.
