Mitt Romney has not learned the subtleties of using the Bully Pulpit. The first thing Romney did on his world tour was to insult the British. Romney clearly doesn’t yet understand the difference between being a world leader who has to build coalitions versus a management consultant who is supposed to summarize the pros and cons of a business in a PowerPoint. At least Romney didn’t say he’d “like to fire” the British Olympic organizers.
