Grover Norquist: GOP should send ultimate message “force Government Shutdown”

How will this work as a political message for Republicans if they shut down the government in 2011 and/or 2012? I think the GOP House of Representatives will take a hit in terms of public opinion, but the GOP is looking at the bigger picture. If the government shutdown can destroy the economy and run up unemployment, it will destroy Obama’s chances of re-election and thus give the GOP a greater chance at taking over the White House, the Senate and retaining the house.
